11/04/2008 - Reserves pre-match training
Sawston United Reserves relax prior to the second derby v Rovers Reserves in a week by having a couple of 'sociable' drinks. Manager Big Mac quipped ' my only disappointment was that I wasn't with the lads to have a soft drink or two - these lads are highly tuned athletes and I know a 'couple' of drinks won't have any effect on their performance in the big game tomorrow

12/01/2008 - MINI Drives in!!!!

Mark "MINI" Negus has returned to Sawston United this week, following a couple of seasons at local rivals Sawston Rovers.

Mark is certainly a character, who will liven up any changing room, and has been known to play a bit also.

He is certainly a great addition to the Sawston United Squad.

A Straight swap see Ash Moden going in the opposite direction to Sawston Rovers. Ash only managed a few games before injury cost him some time out of playing. Sawston United wish Ash well in his move to Sawston Rovers, and thank him for his time with United. Good Luck
